Printing Tips

Our sheet music is provided as standard PDF files. There is nothing about the file that would prevent you from printing. If you experience issues printing, please consult support materials for your printer, PDF software, etc. We are unable to assist you with troubleshooting printer issues.

Required Software

You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader that allows you to open and print PDF files.

Paper Recommendations

Standard letter-sized (8.5 x 11) printer or copier paper is recommended for printing.

Print Size

Our sheet music is sized for 8.5 x 11 page (letter-sized). Make sure you set your printer to print at full size. This will be an option in your printer settings. In Adobe Reader, this option is labeled "Actual Size." Other programs may use different options such as allowing you to set the scale (set it to 100%).

Print Quality

If your prints contain faded areas, unwanted lines, etc., there are several things you should check.

Printer Ink

If your printer ink is low (even a single color), it can affect the quality of printing. Check your printer ink levels to make sure you have adequate ink. Your printer manual should provide information on how to do this.

Printer Maintenance

If you are using an inkjet printer, you may need to run maintenance such as nozzle cleaning. Consult your printer manual for details on how to do this and other types of maintenance.

Printing Terms of Use

You may print an unlimited number of copies for your personal use. You may not distribute those printouts to others. Everyone who uses the music needs to purchase their own copy.
